“You will be acclaimed for following your dreams. You will be hated for the same reasons as well. But through it all you have to stay strong and remember that this is exactly what you want, this is the right place, the right moment, the right thing.”

Three years ago I decided, I’m moving to NYC! I’ve been wanting this for years and was than ready to go, ( well that’s what I thought). I started to save money to go live the dream, but than I fell in love, I got a great job, family.. Every time I tried to leave, something came up. So ‘Follow your dreams’ got cancelled. At the time I didn’t realize it, but it was just the way that things were designed to let me know that I wasn’t ready yet.

Now, three years later, in my new apartment in the center of NYC I’m writing those few words. There is a little smile on my face that says, “Yes you did it”. Well I made it till here, everyday that I spend here is a celebration of me achieving my dream. But I know there is more. My heart didn’t just beat for me to change geographical locations, but to satisfy this hunger that I have inside of wanting something more, more than the average, more than what most people are happy with. Cause I believe there’s got to be more to life.

What this more will be for me is what I will find out and if you stick with me I’ll share with you my journey.
